Liberty Church is located in Shrewsbury, MA. We are an ethnically and socially diverse community, representing a variety of ages and religious backgrounds. At the heart of everything we do is a desire to be Christ-centered both individually and corporately. Our mission is to love people to Christ. Whether it’s one of our weekend services or Liberty Life during the week, we pray you feel loved and walk away changed through dynamic and engaging worship, relevant messages from God’s Word, and connection through relationships. Join us for our Saturday evening (6 p.m.), Sunday morning (9 & 11 a.m.) or on a Wednesday (6 p.m.-dinner; 7 p.m.- classes & Kids Life); we hope to see you soon!
In 1997, the church formerly known as Mount Zion Assembly became Liberty Assembly with about a dozen people as their church body. Just two years later, 13 acres of land were purchased on Route 20 in Shrewsbury in order to have a more central location and build a 400-seat auditorium. The facility was completed in December 2001, and the first service for Liberty Church was held just one month later with around 350 people in attendance. In October 2009, Liberty Church finished the expansion of our new facility, which included many additional rooms, a large children’s area, and a new sanctuary with a seating capacity for up to 1,000 people. Currently, Liberty has grown to a church community with more than 1,000 people in attendance, offering three weekend services, Liberty Life (a midweek service with dinner and Bible study), and more importantly room for continued growth and a place where we will continue to love people to Christ.
