Josh Wellborn

Topic: Everyday Faith

Josh and Jennifer Wellborn have come back to their hometown of Springfield, Missouri to serve in the Assemblies of God Youth Ministries after 17 years in full-time ministry. Josh attended Evangel University and Jennifer, Missouri State University.

After pursuing a career in broadcasting, Josh became a youth pastor in 2001 and has served in Brussels, Belgium; Seattle, Washington; and Michigan. Their youth ministry at Mount Hope Church in Lansing, Michigan was nationally ranked in the Top 10 for Speed the Light giving. In 2015, Josh was appointed as the Michigan District Student Ministries Director, where he oversaw both youth and children’s ministries. Then, in January 2018, he was appointed National Director of Assemblies of God Youth Ministries. Josh and Jennifer live in Ozark, Missouri with their four children—Isaac, Symon, Liza, and Stella.

Brenna Kate Simonds

Topic: Sexuality & Gender Identity

Rev. Brenna Kate Simonds has been learning to walk in freedom from same-sex attraction, disordered eating, and self-injury since January of 1999. She is the director of Alive in Christ, a ministry offering hope to those impacted by same-sex attraction. Brenna has had the opportunity to be in “The Boston Globe,” award-winning documentaries “Such Were Some of You” and “Just As I Am,” and the TV show, “Pure Passion.”

She is the author of the book “Learning to Walk in Freedom.” Brenna holds ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God and attends Brockton Assembly of God. Brenna's favorite pastimes are singing, gluten-free cooking, and enjoying the company of her husband and their three children at their home in Brockton, MA.

Tori Ferrari

Tori has worked with teens and families for 30 years and currently serves as the Director of Bloom (ATCNE). She holds her Master's and Doctorate in Biblical Counseling, is an AG Ordained Minister and is a Board Certified Mental Health Coach.

As a Results System™ Certified Practitioner, Anne helps clients get to the root of the issues quickly and helps clients create roadmaps for success. In addition, Anne is ACC certified with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Level 3 Proficient Coach with AG Coaching.

Bruce and Sue LaRue

Topic: Grief & Loss

We are Bruce and Sue LaRue. We have been married since 2017. Both of our previous spouses of over 30yrs died from the same rare brain cancer. From that devastating grief, and a heart of faith, a ministry to help others was born. Good Grief Ministries, Inc is a local nonprofit out of Westport, MA.

We love sharing with people one on one. We are the authors of two books, have over 150 YouTube videos under Good Grief Ministries, and we hold yearly retreats to help bring encouragement, comfort, and healing to hurt people. We grieve because we have loved, and we want to link arms with those who need help to move on.

Dr. Frank Cavallo

Topic: Parenting

Dr. Cavallo is licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving couples, families, individuals, and groups. He works with couples that are experiencing a loss of connection, as well as communication and intimacy difficulties. He works with separated and divorced couples to identify and navigate through conflict and challenges. Dr. Cavallo also specializes in coaching men and women who are working through life transitions.

Allison Matthews

Topic: Early Childhood Development

Dr. Allison Matthews is an Early Childhood consultant, specializing in staff training and EEC administrative support. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of early childhood education. Her clients include both center and family childcare programs. Dr. Matthews facilitates workshops, staff development trainings and mentoring on a broad spectrum of topics related to the field. Dr. Matthews holds degrees in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Policy and Planning in Education, along with a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Matthews has served as a Childcare Director and School Principal. Presently, Dr. Matthews is an Adjunct Professor of 18 years at Urban College of Boston, teaching in the Early Childhood division and she previously served as the Dean of Enrollment. She also has held an additional adjunct professor position for Eastern Nazarene College.

Dr. Matthews is presently the Christian Education Director at Crossroads Worship Center in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Her main responsibility is planning and implementation of the Christian Education and Youth ministries of the church. This involves working with the Christian Education Team and Pastor, to organize programs with an emphasis on children and youth, as well as to train church members for the task of teaching and leading Christian Education in a shared capacity. Dr. Matthews loves to sing and also travel. She resides in Massachusetts with her husband and has two adult children.

Jeff & Dina Watson

Topic: Addiction & Recovery

Jeff and Dina Watson are the Directors of Celebrate Recovery for the New England Dream Center and Liberty Church; a 12 Step Program bringing freedom to people struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. They have experienced freedom, healing and hope and want to share it with others. Their passion is to see the addicted, lost, and hopeless set free from alcohol and drug addictions.

They believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is relevant in today’s society, therefore their mission is to seek the lost and help the suffering. Jeff and Dina are the founders and leaders of Called Out Of Darkness Ministries, an evangelistic outreach ministry that holds various tent meetings throughout towns and cities within New England, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and shinning his light into a dark world. Jeff and Dina desire to point lost souls in utter darkness toward the Savior’s marvelous light.

Yelonda Carroll

Yelonda Carroll is the Director of Children’s Ministries, KidsLife, at Liberty Church. Yelonda Carroll is the Kids Life Ministry Director at Liberty Church in Shrewsbury, MA. She has an educational background in Business Management & Marketing with a wide variety of corporate work along with real estate sales and licensure.

Yelonda’s personal and professional experiences bring excellence to her ministry leadership. She has a true dedication to serving God and his people with contagious joy. Her ministry background includes outreach programs for inner city families, after school programs for children & youth and women’s support groups. Yelonda is enthusiastic about supporting families and growing kids in their faith by creating a safe place for kids to have fun, build relationships, discover their purpose, and applying the truth of God’s word into daily living. She knows from personal experience that understanding who you are in Christ is how a child, teen and adult not only survive life’s storms but thrive in them!

Tytus Moen

Tytus Moen serves as an Associate at Eventide Asset Management, a faith-based investment firm based in Boston, MA. He utilizes his financial services background to help financial advisors align their investments with Biblical principles. He is driven by a profound belief in the transformative power of business to address not only the material but also the spiritual well-being of individuals, communities, and society as a whole. His previous roles in venture capital and private equity have further developed his tool chest of ways individuals can implement Biblical wisdom into daily financial habits and live with a Business as Mission (BAM) mindset.

He received his B.A. in Business Administration & Social Enterprise from Gordon College. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. He currently serves on the Board of the Massachusetts Society for Aiding Discharged Prisoners. Tytus and his wife Sarah-Catherine live in Malden, MA are faithful followers of Christ.
