Royal Family KIDS Camp

Royal Family KIDS Camp is an in-state mission trip that provides a week of fun, hope, and encouragement for children ages 6-12 in foster care who have experienced abuse, neglect, or family trauma. Through safe relationships, positive experiences, and the love of Christ, volunteers help create lasting memories and remind each child that they are valued and deeply loved.

This mission allows our church to serve some of the most vulnerable children in our community through an active, high-energy camp environment, so volunteers should be prepared to engage with and keep up with enthusiastic kids all week.

Participants are also asked to fundraise $1000 for the camp, making it possible for these children to attend at no cost and experience a week that can have a lasting impact on their lives.

Throughout the school year

RFK Mentoring

Royal Family KIDS Mentoring Program runs throughout the school year as the sister program to RFK Camp. It provides an opportunity to continue building positive relationships with children in the foster care system who have experienced abuse, abandonment and neglect. After a week of summer camp, the mentoring program allows us, literally, to continue “showing up” for these children who need it most.

At our once-monthly “club” meetings kids can connect with a safe and caring adult - nurturing a consistent relationship with a positive role model and receiving individualized attention - while building lasting friendships with their peers, participating in skill mastery, character building and fun, and finding a place to belong.
