Prayer Guide ONLINE

The corporate prayer times will be led by the prayer directors and pastoral team. Plan to be with us as much as you can for these great times of prayer together!

Dear Surge21 Family,

As you begin this powerful journey of Surge21—21 days of prayer and fasting—I encourage you to approach it with purpose, commitment, an open heart, and confidence that God is eager to meet you and help you (Hebrews 4:16). Set aside intentional time each day in a quiet, distraction-free place where you can center your thoughts and prepare your heart to connect with the Lord.

During the period of fasting, choose a specific area of your life to focus your prayers on; whether it be personal relationships, spiritual development, or a particular life-challenge you want to overcome. As you abstain from eating certain foods or activities, let the Holy Spirit give you the strength and discipline to fortify your spiritual resolve. Philippians 2:13, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.” Use this time to create space for reflection. Consider incorporating a Bible study, meditating on Scripture, and incorporating worship music into your daily routine to enhance your spiritual experience.

Begin your time with gratitude and worship, thanking God for the blessings in your life. From there, be intentional in your prayers—seeking spiritual growth, divine direction, and a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Conclude each day with a moment of reflection and gratitude, acknowledging the progress you've made, and the lessons learned. May these 21 days be a period of profound spiritual growth, drawing you closer to God and empowering you to live a purposeful and fulfilling life in the will of the Lord.

Finally, on the following pages we have included several areas of prayer to use as a guide. We invite you to incorporate this prayer guide in your daily prayer times. These are areas that as a church we are choosing to focus on.

Throughout the fast, choose a specific area of your life to bring before the Lord. This could include relationships, spiritual maturity, or a challenge you are believing God to help you overcome. As you refrain from certain foods or activities, rely on the Holy Spirit for strength and discipline, trusting that God is at work within you according to His purpose (Philippians 2:13). Let this season create space for reflection by spending time in Scripture, meditating on God’s Word, and incorporating worship music into your daily rhythm.

Take time to listen as well. Journaling your thoughts, prayers, and insights can help you recognize how the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. Stay open to what God reveals, and give yourself grace as challenges arise along the way. You are not meant to walk this journey alone—lean into community. Share your experience with others for encouragement and accountability, and join us in our corporate prayer times whenever possible.

End each day with reflection and gratitude, thanking God for the progress made and the lessons learned. May these 21 days mark a season of deep spiritual growth, drawing you closer to the Lord and empowering you to live with purpose and fulfillment in His will.

In the following pages, you will find specific prayer focuses to serve as a guide during this season. We invite you to use this prayer guide daily, as these are the areas our church is collectively lifting up in prayer.

Thank you for making Surge21 a priority. This is a significant initiative for Liberty Church this year, and I truly believe this guide will be a blessing to you personally. As we pray and fast together, we have the privilege of participating in what God is preparing to do in our church and throughout our community in 2026.
